Garage sale app was my introduction into UX/UI design. We prototyped a product app and then designed all of the user interactions. Created and conducted user test plans with feedback. Applied the feedback to the prototype and tested it again.

App Design and Prototype
This was a team project where we developed an app that users may want. It included a logo design and branding, prototyping, user test plan creation, a/b testing, and feedback. We designed what we thought the user wanted then tested. Applied their feedback to the prototype, and tested again.
This project taught me a lot. Users expect certain things and if those expectations are met it can be disastrous. User testing is a must for any type of app design.
Just because you might know what a user may want to do doesn’t mean that’s the way they are going to do it. Using lessons already developed from app functionality can help. I have a better appreciation for apps now after this project.
